Tolaram Africa Names Obabueki Aigbogun New Head Of Consumer Insights

Obabueki Aigbogun, an expert in consumer and market insights, has joined Tolaram Africa, a manufacturing conglomerate, as Head of Consumer Insights.

In his new position, Aigbogun will be in charge of assisting the company in advancing its customer-centric agenda by elevating the opinions of customers in all business decisions. He was Pepsico’s Africa Food and Beverage Insights Manager before being hired.

He is a seasoned consumer and market insights consultant with over 11 years of experience working for a market research agency and an FCMG firm, using data to inform business decisions. He is an expert in both quantitative and qualitative research methods and how to apply them to business inquiries. His experiences encompassed FMCG (Food & Beverages, Home & Personal Care, Tobacco), Telco, Financials, Social & Environmental, and delivery insights that addressed a range of business and marketing issues. He now has a better understanding of African markets and their customers thanks to these experiences.

Aigbogun began his career as a sales executive at Cadelle Travel and Tours Ltd., where he assisted clients in choosing their destinations and finalising their travel plans, negotiated the best prices, and created packages that met their needs. After that, he relocated to Etisalat Nigeria to work as a Customer Care Representative, where his duties included gathering customer feedback and helping customers with problems pertaining to goods and services.

Aigbogun has also held positions as Client Service and Research Manager at Kantar Millward Brown and Trainee Research Executive at GFK. He has a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Economics from the University of Benin and a Master of Business Administration in Marketing/Marketing Management from the University of Lagos, BrandSpur news brand reports.
