Branded ALAT: The Evolution, the new platform reinforces Wema Bank’s position as a pioneer in digital financial services in Nigeria and Africa.
The upgraded app integrates several next-generation features aimed at simplifying daily banking. Voice banking, known as SAW, allows users to perform transactions using natural speech commands, making the app more accessible and reducing operational complexity. Tap and Pay enables seamless contactless payments, while the predictive uptime function informs customers of system availability in real time, enhancing transparency and reliability.

Existing ALAT users can update their app via the Google Play Store or Apple App Store, retaining all account information and transaction history, while gaining access to new functionalities. New customers can download the app and complete a seamless onboarding process by selecting the Get Started icon.
