
In the parallel market, otherwise known as the black market, the Naira increased to N1,490 per dollar yesterday from N1,495 on Monday.
Similarly, on the Nigerian Foreign Exchange Market, or NFEM, the value of the naira increased to N1,420 per dollar.

The indicative exchange rate for the naira decreased to N1,420 per dollar from N1,420.5 per dollar on Monday, according to data from the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), indicating a 50 kobo increase in the value of the naira.
BrandSpur banking and finance news desk reports that as a result, the difference between the official and black markets decreased from N74.5 to N70 per dollar on Monday.
