Algorithm Media has commemorated its 10th anniversary, outlining a forward-looking strategy aimed at shaping the next phase of Nigeria’s marketing communications industry after a decade of consistent growth and resilience.
Founded in 2015, the media agency has navigated multiple economic shocks, including two national recessions and the COVID-19 pandemic, to emerge as one of Nigeria’s leading media agencies. The milestone celebration, themed “Beyond the Rise,” signals a shift from growth-focused success to long-term industry influence, innovation and legacy building.
Speaking during a media engagement at the company’s Victoria Island office, Seni Adetu, Group Chief Executive Officer of First Primus West Africa, described the anniversary as a reflection of endurance, strategic discipline and organisational values rather than longevity alone. He noted that sustaining relevance and performance in Nigeria’s volatile business environment requires more than ambition.
Brandspur Brand News reports that Algorithm Media currently ranks among the top three media agencies in Nigeria, with one of the strongest portfolios of multinational clients in the market, a position driven by operational consistency and leadership-driven decision-making.
Adetu identified three core pillars behind the agency’s stability and growth: people, client experience and governance. He disclosed that the company has maintained an unbroken record of prompt salary payments since inception, including during periods of economic downturn, reinforcing staff confidence and institutional trust.

On client relationships, the agency adopts a philosophy that prioritises deep partnership over transactional service delivery. According to Adetu, Algorithm Media’s approach is designed to integrate seamlessly into clients’ business strategies, ensuring measurable value and long-term collaboration.
Governance also remains central to the agency’s operating model. Drawing from Adetu’s decades of experience in multinational organisations, Algorithm Media maintains compliance structures that meet global due diligence standards, allowing regulators, partners and clients to audit its systems at short notice.
Looking ahead, Adetu acknowledged that the strategies that drove the agency’s first decade may not be sufficient for the future. He revealed that Algorithm Media is investing heavily in technology-driven solutions, innovation frameworks and new service offerings beyond traditional media buying to stay ahead of industry shifts.
The agency plans to unveil these initiatives at a scheduled industry event later this month, where it will engage stakeholders on scaling innovation, collaboration and redefining media effectiveness in Nigeria’s evolving communications ecosystem.
Adetu concluded by crediting the agency’s journey to its people, partners, regulators and clients, stressing that collective trust and accountability remain critical to sustaining Algorithm Media’s next decade of growth and relevance.
