
In the parallel/black market, the Naira increased to N1,470 per dollar today from N1,480 on Thursday.
But the naira weakened in the Nigerian Foreign Exchange Market (NFEM), depreciating to N1,391 per dollar, BrandSpur banking and finance news desk reports.
The indicative exchange rate for the naira increased to N1,391 per dollar from N1,385 per dollar on Thursday, according to data from the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), indicating a depreciation of N6 for the naira.
As a result, the difference between the official and parallel markets decreased from N95 to N79 per dollar on Thursday.
