
LG Electronics has launched a cutting-edge range of AI-driven home appliances designed specifically for the Middle East and Africa (MEA) at LG InnoFest 2026 MEA in Abu Dhabi, held from February 3–5. The event, themed “Innovation, Forward Together,” showcased LG’s latest innovations across clothing care, kitchen appliances, built-in kitchen solutions, and total cleaning systems, highlighting a focus on regional relevance and user-centric design.
Returning after a seven-year break, LG InnoFest serves as the company’s premier platform to engage partners, media, and stakeholders. The festival-style exhibition emphasised LG’s commitment to innovation, collaboration, and its Life’s Good philosophy, positioning the brand as a leader in AI-enabled home solutions across the MEA region.
Brandspur Brand News reports that LG is advancing its residential laundry portfolio with AI Core-Tech, delivering intelligent washing and drying experiences. Key highlights include the award-winning 29-inch LG SIGNATURE WashCombo™, a high-capacity all-in-one washer-dryer, and the expanded LG WashTower™ lineup, including new 25-inch models for flexible installation. The debut of the 27-inch WashCombo™ offers 25kg washing and 21kg drying capacities, featuring DUAL Inverter HeatPump™ technology for efficient energy use and stable performance. Additionally, the AI Direct Drive™ motor optimises cleaning based on fabric type and load, ensuring smarter laundry management.
Beyond home laundry, LG presented commercial solutions powered by app- and API-based monitoring tools, enabling businesses to manage operations remotely and efficiently.
In the kitchen segment, LG introduced appliances designed under the “Fit & Max” concept, combining built-in aesthetics with intelligent performance. The LG InstaView™ French Door refrigerator uses AI Fresh technology to adjust cooling based on usage patterns, while the new bottom freezer model offers a seamless, modern design. The redesigned SolarDOM™ All-in-One Microwave Oven features a 2.4-inch LCD interface, 60 Auto Cook menus, Air Fry capability, and Wi-Fi connectivity via the LG ThinQ app for remote operation.
LG also unveiled advancements in dishwashing, including QuadWash® Pro technology that generates micro-scale air jets for faster and cleaner cycles. AI SenseClean automatically adapts wash and rinse cycles according to contamination levels, and the 1-Hour Wash & Dry function now covers full loads in just 39 minutes.
Brandspur Brand News Desk adds that LG’s built-in kitchen collection has been optimised for MEA households. The Wide Combi built-in refrigerator now offers 385 liters of capacity, up from 233 liters, while the Inverter ProBake™ built-in oven utilises a BLDC motor-driven bidirectional fan to ensure faster, more uniform cooking.
Total cleaning innovations were also on display, featuring the LG Wet & Dry stick vacuum with automated water supply and a robot vacuum with 100-degree Celsius steam mopping, designed for space-efficient operation with concealed docking stations.
