Ecobank Nigeria has introduced the Ecobank Business App, a digital banking solution designed to enhance the growth, efficiency, and sustainability of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) nationwide. The platform enables business owners to manage payments, track transactions, monitor cash flow, and handle daily financial operations directly from their mobile devices, eliminating delays and operational bottlenecks.

Brandspur Banking News Desk reports that the app is now available for download on both the Google Play Store and Apple App Store, signalling Ecobank’s commitment to leveraging technology for SME empowerment.

Speaking at the launch in Lagos, Kola Adeleke, Executive Director, Consumer and Commercial Banking, highlighted that the app addresses the unique challenges faced by Nigeria’s diverse SME ecosystem. The platform caters to traders, online businesses, tech start-ups, hospitality operators, farmers, agro-processors, manufacturers, construction firms, schools, associations, and professional service providers, offering tailored solutions for transparent and efficient financial management.

Adeleke explained that the Ecobank Business App facilitates faster payment collection for merchants and retailers, seamless digital transactions for online businesses, efficient vendor and staff management for hospitality players, and timely payment solutions for agriculture value chains. Manufacturers and construction firms can execute high-value transactions securely, while professionals like lawyers and consultants can issue invoices and receive payments easily. Schools and associations can also streamline fees, dues, and reporting through the app.
