Integrated Indigo Limited has secured a major continental honour after emerging winner at the 2026 Superior Achievement in Branding, Reputation and Engagement (SABRE) Africa Awards, held in South Africa.
The marketing communications consultancy earned the award in the Industrial and Manufacturing category for its Women on Wheels campaign, delivered for Lafarge Africa Plc. The campaign spotlighted gender inclusion within the traditionally male-dominated industrial sector, positioning women as active contributors across operational and leadership roles.
Brandspur Brand News reports that the recognition reinforces Integrated Indigo’s growing reputation for purpose-led storytelling and socially responsive brand communication. The Women on Wheels campaign was designed to challenge entrenched stereotypes, elevate female visibility in manufacturing, and align Lafarge Africa’s corporate messaging with broader conversations around diversity and empowerment.
Reacting to the win, the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Integrated Indigo Limited, Bolaji Abimbola, described the award as a reflection of strong client collaboration and disciplined creative execution. He said the project demonstrated how strategic communication can drive relevance beyond brand awareness.
According to Abimbola, the campaign’s success underscores the agency’s commitment to developing ideas that resonate with real-world issues while delivering measurable value to clients. He added that the recognition affirms the trust organisations place in Integrated Indigo to translate vision into impactful narratives.
The agency noted that the award belongs collectively to the team behind the project, acknowledging the planners, creatives, and strategists whose combined efforts shaped the campaign’s outcome. Integrated Indigo stated that it remains focused on building partnerships that generate both business and social impact.
The 2026 SABRE Africa Awards featured more than 120 shortlisted campaigns selected from over 500 entries across the continent. Winners were determined by a panel of industry experts, with the awards ceremony held on March 17 in South Africa.
With this latest win, Integrated Indigo continues to strengthen its footprint on the African marketing stage, adding to its previous SABRE recognition for work executed for Nigerian Breweries Plc, and reinforcing its position as a leading force in strategic brand communication.
