MTN Nigeria has introduced new bundled broadband solutions that combine internet data plans with compatible 4G and 5G routers, as the telecommunications company moves to accelerate broadband adoption and improve access to reliable internet connectivity across the country.
The new packages are targeted at households, small businesses, students and remote workers seeking dependable high-speed internet. By offering routers alongside prepaid broadband plans, MTN aims to simplify the process of getting connected while supporting Nigeria’s growing digital economy.
Customers can choose from several options, including a 30GB broadband bundle with a 4G standard router priced at ₦9,000, a 60GB package paired with a 4G premium router for ₦14,500, and an unlimited broadband plan bundled with a 5G router for ₦40,000. Brandspur Brand News reports that the packages are available through MTN stores, authorised partners and accredited device dealers across the country.
The latest offering builds on MTN’s Fixed Wireless Access portfolio, leveraging its nationwide 4G and expanding 5G network to provide internet services for residential and business users without requiring traditional fixed-line infrastructure.
The company said the initiative is designed to make broadband services more accessible and affordable while enabling more Nigerians to work, study, run businesses and access digital services through faster and more reliable internet connections.
The bundled solutions also align with broader efforts to increase broadband penetration in Nigeria, where improved connectivity remains a key driver of digital inclusion, innovation and economic growth. By integrating devices with data plans, MTN is seeking to remove barriers that often delay broadband adoption among first-time users.
As demand for high-speed internet continues to rise, particularly among entrepreneurs, content creators and hybrid workers, the company expects the new packages to support wider access to digital opportunities while strengthening connectivity for individuals and businesses across the country.
