Bogo Beverages Commissions N20 Billion Factory In Lagos, Targets 10,000 Jobs In 2026

Bogo Beverages has commissioned a new N20 billion manufacturing facility in Ikorodu, Lagos, significantly expanding its production capacity and strengthening Nigeria’s beverage manufacturing sector. The new plant is expected to produce beverages across five product categories while creating more than 10,000 direct and indirect jobs along the value chain.

The facility has an annual production capacity of 80,000 and is designed to manufacture carbonated soft drinks, juices, spirits, bitters and bottled water from a single integrated production hub. The investment underscores the company’s long-term expansion strategy and commitment to increasing local manufacturing capacity.

The commissioning ceremony attracted government officials, industry stakeholders, distributors and members of the host community. Brandspur Brand News reports that production at the facility has commenced, with products expected to reach retail outlets across Nigeria in the coming weeks.

Located in Ikorodu, the factory is equipped with automated production lines, quality control laboratories and energy-efficient manufacturing systems built to international standards. Its strategic location provides easier access to Lagos, Nigeria’s largest consumer market, while supporting nationwide distribution and exports to other African markets, including Ghana and Kenya.

The project is also expected to stimulate economic activity beyond manufacturing by creating employment opportunities in logistics, warehousing, retail, transportation and other supporting industries linked to the beverage supply chain.

Bogo Beverages said the investment reflects confidence in Nigeria’s consumer market despite prevailing economic challenges, with the company positioning itself to compete across multiple beverage segments through increased production efficiency and local capacity.

The company manufactures and distributes a range of beverage products while also marketing several international brands in the wine, cognac and whisky categories. The commissioning of the Ikorodu plant marks a major milestone in its expansion plans and reinforces the growing trend of local investment in Nigeria’s fast-moving consumer goods industry.
