Big Brother Naija Season 11 Premieres July 26, 2026 With Record ₦160 Million Grand Prize

Big Brother Naija is set to return for its highly anticipated Season 11 on Sunday, July 26, 2026, with organisers unveiling a record-breaking ₦160 million grand prize, the biggest reward in the history of Africa’s leading reality television show.

The new season will premiere from 7:00 p.m. on Africa Magic Showcase and Africa Magic Family, while the 24-hour live broadcast will be available on DStv Channel 198 and GOtv Channel 49. Viewers will also be able to stream the programme live through the DStv Stream and GOtv Stream platforms.

The winner of Season 11 will receive a prize package worth ₦160 million, comprising ₦100 million in cash and a brand-new sports utility vehicle (SUV), raising the competitive stakes for contestants expected to participate in this year’s edition. Brandspur Brand News reports that the increased prize reflects the continued commercial growth and popularity of the reality television franchise across Africa.

MultiChoice said the new season will feature fresh contestants, new twists and expanded entertainment designed to sustain audience engagement from the opening night through to the grand finale.

Returning as host is Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, who will once again guide viewers through the weekly tasks, nominations, evictions and live shows that have become hallmarks of the franchise.

Season 11 also introduces a refreshed lineup of commercial partners. betPawa joins the programme as the headline sponsor, while Guinness returns as the gold sponsor and Minimie comes on board as an associate sponsor, highlighting continued confidence from major brands in the show’s marketing reach and audience appeal.

The organisers said the sponsorship partnerships reflect the programme’s influence as one of Africa’s largest entertainment and advertising platforms, providing brands with opportunities to connect directly with millions of viewers across multiple markets.

Since its revival in 2017, Big Brother Naija has evolved beyond reality television into a major cultural and commercial platform that has produced numerous entertainment personalities, expanded opportunities within Nigeria’s creative industry and generated significant economic activity across media, advertising and digital content creation.

The new season is expected to feature a combination of strategic gameplay, competitive tasks, interactive challenges and personal relationships that have contributed to the programme’s enduring popularity among audiences across Africa.

As one of the continent’s most recognisable television franchises, Big Brother Naija continues to play an important role in shaping entertainment trends, influencing popular culture and providing emerging talents with a platform to build careers within the creative economy.

With a record prize fund, new sponsorship agreements and another diverse group of housemates expected to enter the house, Season 11 is positioned to become one of the most competitive editions in the history of the Big Brother Naija franchise.
