Film In The Park (F.L.I.P) has announced the third edition of its outdoor cinema event, F.L.I.P 3.0: A Night of Magic – The Kaleidoscope African Experience, scheduled to hold on September 19, 2026, at Freedom Park, Lagos, as organisers seek to expand the platform’s celebration of African film, culture and creative expression.
The event will begin at 4:00 p.m. and is expected to attract filmmakers, movie enthusiasts, creative professionals and cultural stakeholders for an evening centred on African storytelling through film, music and interactive experiences.
According to the organisers, this year’s edition represents a new phase for the initiative following the success of previous editions. Brandspur Brand News reports that F.L.I.P 3.0 is designed to offer a broader cultural experience that combines outdoor film screenings with networking opportunities, creative conversations and entertainment in a single event.
Founder of Film In The Park, Tomiwa Precious Otun, said the 2026 edition aims to deepen audience engagement with African cinema while creating a platform that showcases the continent’s diverse stories, artistic talent and cultural heritage in an immersive environment.
Attendees are expected to enjoy a curated selection of African films alongside live music, food, games and opportunities for interaction among filmmakers, creatives, industry professionals and members of the public. The organisers also confirmed that the official film lineup and full programme schedule will be unveiled ahead of the event.
Tickets for F.L.I.P 3.0 are available at a flat rate of ₦10,000 through the organisers’ online ticketing platform, while additional updates will be released through Film In The Park’s official digital channels as preparations continue for the September gathering in Lagos.
