TPT International Named Among Africa’s Leading PR Consultancies In 2026 Index

Nigerian strategic communications firm TPT International has been recognised in the inaugural Africa Consultancy Performance Index 2026, placing it among public relations consultancies acknowledged for their performance and impact across the continent.

Published by Earned First, the new index assesses communications consultancies across five areas: business performance, creative impact and client outcomes, innovation and thought leadership, talent and culture, and industry leadership.

TPT International appears alongside African and international communications firms including Retroviral, Clockwork, Dialogue Communications, Edelman, Burson Africa, WE Communications and Chain Reactions Africa.

Brandspur Brand News reports that the recognition adds to the growing visibility of Nigerian-owned communications consultancies within Africa’s broader public relations industry, where agencies are increasingly expanding their work beyond traditional media relations.

TPT International was founded by communications practitioner Adetokunbo Modupe, widely known as Toks Modupe, who has spent more than three decades in the industry.

The consultancy’s work covers strategic public relations, corporate reputation, public affairs, brand communications and influence management, with experience spanning corporate organisations, government, consumer brands and development-sector communications.

Modupe has also held leadership positions within the Public Relations Consultants Association of Nigeria and has remained involved in initiatives focused on professional and industry development.

TPT International is a member of the WE Communications global network, giving the Nigerian consultancy access to international expertise while retaining its knowledge of African markets and local communications environments.

Its inclusion in the index comes as the role of public relations firms across Africa continues to broaden. Businesses and institutions increasingly require communications advisers to manage reputation, stakeholder relationships and complex public narratives alongside conventional media engagement.

The index also places emphasis on consultancies capable of extending their influence beyond their home markets, reflecting the growing importance of cross-border communications expertise as African businesses expand regionally and internationally.

For TPT International, the recognition represents another step in its ambition to strengthen its position beyond Nigeria and build greater relevance across the continent.

The firm’s inclusion alongside established international and African agencies also underscores the increasing presence of home-grown Nigerian consultancies in a communications industry where local market knowledge and international capabilities are becoming closely intertwined.
