Publicis Groupe Promotes Jayde Hill To Lead People And Culture In New Zealand

Publicis Groupe has promoted Jayde Hill to General Manager, People and Culture for its New Zealand operations, expanding her leadership responsibilities across talent management, employee wellbeing and organisational development.

Hill moves into the position after serving as Head of People and Culture, extending an eight-year career with the advertising and communications group that began when she joined its New Zealand business in 2018.

In her expanded role, she will oversee Publicis Groupe’s people and culture strategy across New Zealand, with responsibility for talent, capability development, wellbeing and broader organisational priorities.

Brandspur Brand News reports that the promotion represents a significant progression for Hill, who was Publicis Groupe’s first dedicated people and culture hire in New Zealand and has played a central role in developing the function since joining the business.

Her career spans talent acquisition, employee development and business partnering, with professional experience across New Zealand, Australia and the United Kingdom.

Pauly Grant, Chief Talent Officer at Publicis Groupe Australia and New Zealand and Asia-Pacific, said Hill had built the New Zealand people and culture function from the ground up while earning the confidence of employees and senior leaders across the organisation.

Grant also highlighted Hill’s combination of commercial understanding and people-focused leadership, describing her progression within the company as an example of the career development opportunities available across Publicis Groupe’s agencies.

For Hill, the new position brings responsibility for shaping the next stage of the company’s workplace strategy as it seeks to attract, develop and retain talent across its New Zealand operations.

She said her priorities would include creating an environment where employees can develop their careers, perform effectively and make meaningful contributions to the business.

Hill’s promotion also strengthens Publicis Groupe’s regional people leadership structure at a time when advertising and communications companies are placing greater emphasis on talent development, workplace wellbeing and building the skills required to respond to changes across the industry.

Having helped establish the group’s dedicated people and culture operation in New Zealand, Hill will now lead the function as it enters its next phase of development.
