Bitoshi Awards Seed Funding To Four Nigerian Tech Entrepreneurs

Four Nigerian tech entrepreneurs have secured seed funding from Bitoshi after pitching their startups at Tech Cirvee Fest 3.0, giving the early stage founders financial backing to develop their products.

The recipients include Abdulganiy Eniola Maryam and Tijani Hibatul Mannan Kanyinsola, the founders of SAAIM, as well as Joseph Oyetunde and Triumph Nwodo, who founded ApplyLater.

SAAIM is developing a mobile fasting companion, while ApplyLater is building an AI powered workspace designed to help users manage applications for scholarships, grants, fellowships and jobs, according to information shared by Techpoint Africa.

Brandspur Brand News reports that the funding was awarded following pitches by the founders at Tech Cirvee Fest 3.0, highlighting two startups working on technology solutions aimed at addressing practical needs around personal development and access to opportunities.

For SAAIM, the product is centred on helping users manage and navigate fasting through a mobile platform. ApplyLater, meanwhile, is focused on bringing multiple application processes into a single digital workspace, potentially making it easier for users to organise opportunities that often require separate applications and deadlines.

The funding gives the four entrepreneurs an opportunity to advance their respective products as they continue building their startups.

Bitoshi also publicly congratulated Maryam Abdulganiy, Hibatul Mannan Tijani, Joseph Oyetunde and Triumph Nwodo following the announcement.

The recognition comes as early stage technology founders continue to develop digital products targeting specific everyday challenges, with both SAAIM and ApplyLater emerging from the Tech Cirvee Fest 3.0 pitching platform.
