Pukka has announced seven new and returning products for autumn 2026, expanding its chilled pie and savoury pastry ranges with its first lamb pie, a Mexican-inspired vegetarian slice and new options designed for sharing.
The British pie maker will distribute the products through major UK retailers, including Tesco, Asda, Sainsbury’s, Morrisons, Iceland and Ocado. The launch also introduces new packaging featuring different colours for individual recipes to make the products easier to distinguish on shop shelves.
The line-up includes Lamb, Pea & Mint Pie, Creamy Chicken Pie, Mexican Cheese Slice, The Big One Chicken & Bacon Pie, The Big One Chicken & Gravy Pie, Tickled Pink Chicken & Mushroom Pie and the returning Festive Pie, according to Brandspur Brand News.
The 205g Lamb, Pea & Mint Pie marks Pukka’s first entry into the lamb pie category. It combines minced lamb, garden peas and mint gravy in puff pastry and carries a recommended retail price of £2.50. The product is rolling out across Sainsbury’s, Ocado, Iceland and Asda.
Another addition, the Creamy Chicken Pie, features chicken in a creamy white wine sauce. Also priced at £2.50 for a 205g pie, it will be sold through Morrisons, Tesco, Ocado and Asda.
Pukka’s latest launches follow the reported performance of its Creamy Pepper Steak Pie, which the company said generated £1.5 million in additional spending in the chilled savoury pastry category.
For consumers looking for a food-to-go option, the Mexican Cheese Slice brings a vegetarian alternative to the brand’s Slices range. The 140g pastry contains mature cheddar, potato, onion, peppers and chillies and is intended to be eaten either hot or cold. It will launch exclusively at Tesco from 12 October, with an RRP of £1.75.
The company is also extending its 500g The Big One sharing range with Chicken & Bacon and Chicken & Gravy varieties. The Chicken & Bacon pie combines chicken and smoked diced bacon in a creamy sauce, covered with puff pastry and encased in shortcrust pastry. Priced at £5, it is due to arrive at Asda from 22 October.
The Chicken & Gravy version brings an existing Pukka flavour into the larger format. It also costs £5 and is being rolled out across Sainsbury’s, Ocado, Morrisons and Asda. Pukka said The Big One range has generated £13 million in sales for the savoury pastry category since its introduction in 2024.
The seasonal selection includes the return of the 205g Festive Pie, which combines chicken, pork stuffing, sausages, bacon, seasonal vegetables and cranberries in gravy, all wrapped in puff pastry. The £2.50 product will be available at Asda, Ocado, Morrisons and Iceland from late October until December.
Alongside the new flavours, Pukka is bringing back its Tickled Pink Chicken & Mushroom Pie through an exclusive partnership with Asda for a second year. The 205g pie, sold in pink packaging, supports Asda’s Tickled Pink initiative, with 17p from each pack donated to breast cancer charity partners Breast Cancer Now and CoppaFeel!. It also has a recommended retail price of £2.50.
The Festive Pie will continue the brand’s partnership with Young Lives vs Cancer, with 10p from every pie sold going to the charity, which supports children and young people affected by cancer and their families.
Founded in 1963, Pukka said the autumn launches form part of its wider ambition to become the UK’s leading brand across the savoury pastry category.
