Ecobank’s pan African presence means investors in 33 African countries can access the offer through the bank’s various banking channels, alongside its international offices in London, Paris, Beijing and Dubai. Brandspur Banking News Desk reports that the move gives investors outside Nigeria a more direct route into the share offer.

In Nigeria, both Ecobank customers and non customers can subscribe through the Ecobank Mobile App, Internet Banking, the bank’s website or any of its branches nationwide.

The offer gives investors an opportunity to acquire an interest in Dangote Petroleum Refinery, one of the major industrial projects in Africa. For a minimum subscription of 10 shares, an investor would commit N5,250 before any applicable charges.

Austen Osokpor, Head of Marketing and Corporate Communications at Ecobank Nigeria, said the bank was focused on connecting customers and the wider public with investment opportunities that could support wealth creation and wider participation in the capital market.

He said Ecobank’s digital platforms and branch network had been positioned to make the subscription process convenient and accessible for prospective investors.

Ecobank has advised interested investors to read the offer Prospectus carefully and seek professional advice where necessary before making an investment decision.

Members of the public who wish to participate can subscribe through Ecobank’s digital channels or visit any of its branches nationwide before the October 13 closing date.
