Axxela Limited has secured another Great Place to Work recertification, with an employee survey showing high levels of workplace safety, belonging and access to professional development at the Nigerian gas and power company.
The recognition was awarded by the Great Place to Work Institute following an assessment of employees’ workplace experiences. The survey found that 94 per cent of staff feel physically safe at work, while 91 per cent said they felt welcomed from their first day at the company.
The results also indicate that employees value Axxela’s workplace culture and community role. Brandspur Brand News reports that 92 per cent of respondents said the company celebrates special events, 91 per cent felt good about its contribution to the community, and 90 per cent said they had access to training and development opportunities.
Axxela said the recertification reflects its effort to maintain a supportive and inclusive environment, with employees central to its work in developing energy solutions across West Africa.

Group Chief Executive Officer Moshood Olajide said the feedback from staff reinforced the importance of a workplace where people feel valued and are able to develop professionally. He also linked a strong organisational culture to the company’s performance, innovation and long-term growth.
The latest recognition is expected to support Axxela’s efforts to attract and retain professionals as it pursues its energy business across the region. The company operates in Nigeria’s gas and power sector, providing energy infrastructure and gas solutions to industrial and commercial customers.
