Malta Guinness launches “Go Get it” consumer promo

Malta Guinness, a malt drink from the stables of Guinness Nigeria Plc, has embarked on a nationwide consumer promo to rejig the brand and boost sales.

The promo tagged “Go Get it” with a fund of over N100 million naira will be asking consumers what they would do with N1 Million Naira using #ifIhadamillion.

The brand said that over 3,000 people have responded with their ideas and one person so far has been selected. At a press conference held at the Renaissance Hotel, Ikeja, Lagos, Babayemi Ibrahim was awarded a cheque of N1 million.

The brand handlers say that they will be handing out N13m naira to 13 lucky winners in the coming weeks. To win, all the consumer needs to do is buy a bottle or can of their favourite Malta Guinness Classic or Malta Guinness Herbs Lite, open the crown cork or can ring, pull to reveal a code: SMS the code with their name to 32011: e.g. SMS T8R7KYU MARY to 32011.

Speaking at the press conference, Ifeoma Agu, Brand Manager, Malta Guinness & Non Alcoholic drinks, said:

 “Every week, one lucky winner will win One Million Naira and 3 lucky winners will win One Hundred Thousand naira each. Furthermore, Consumers will win Five Thousand Naira, plus airtime worth millions of naira daily. This is how we show our appreciation and sincere care for all our loyal consumers who have supported us over the years.”

The promo will run for 90-days through 6th November, 2017.
