TStv, Telecom Satellite Television, commences full operation today November 1, 2017, with the roll-out of its free decoders to Nigerians as promised.
In a statement obtained by Brand Spur Nigeria, “TStv Africa wishes to appreciate all Nigerians for the love, patience, and understanding thus far in respect of the brand “TStv Africa”. In a bid to ensuring uniformity and evenness in the sale of its decoders nationwide and is undertaking full branding of its dealers outlets across the country, the company, in a statement in Abuja, however, stated that accreditation of its dealers was still ongoing.
According to TSTV, thousands of free units of TSTV PR Decoders have been deployed nationwide through accredited dealers. The management implores those who have received TSTV PR units to test the services and kindly drop their assessment their our facebook inbox and official email address. To ensure we reach more Nigerians throughout this test period, TSTV Management has launched TSTV transmission nationwide and all our channels are Free to Air for one month.
Foremost, we are not unaware of our promise to commence full commercial sales and operations of TStv Africa on 1st November,2017 nationwide.
This painstaking exercise is to ensure the proper monitoring and evaluation of the signal strength and quality of our channels and programs nationwide.
Similarly, in a bid to achieve uniformity and evenness in the sales of our decoders nationwide, the accreditation of selected dealers is ongoing in addition to the full branding of the dealers’ outlets across the country.
The above stated ongoing activities upon confirmation shall constitute a prelude to the commencement of the commercial sale of TStv Africa decoders nationwide.

TStv introduced the Pay-as-You-Consume model, an option other providers had insisted was not possible, arguing that they bought the contents they relay as a whole and not in bits.
Among TSTV’s offerings are 200 rich blend of local and international channels and packages for entertainment, including news, sports, kids, health, etc.
TStv will also show live sports like Premier League, UEFA Champions League, Europa League and much more.
Some sports channels on TStv Africa are Sport 1-10, Fox Sports HD, Bein, and Ts Sports.
Running on a 4.5G network, every subscriber will get 20G of data for N3,000 monthly. The data can also be used for video calls conferences with camera and WiFi.
The TStv decoder has 50GB hard disk to record TV programmes and a pause/play function.
