Maybe an ex-staff or a present employee of the company. Just maybe someone on LinkedIn who could assist with other qualitative information you are not privy to.

It could be a movement that would take your steps back. So just before you resign, consider that piece of internal information. Money is cool and a salary raise is wonderful but beyond the cash, what career prospects does your new company have in store for you? Is it a hire and fire kind of company? Is it the type that promotion is something really special? Or the type where going on leave is something extraordinary?
