Nigeria’s Ex-President Obasanjo, Others for D.A.R.E. Summit 2018 in Lagos

The registration for DARE 2018 has ended folks; this means it is time to DARE – DISCOVER ACHIEVE REPLICATE and ENJOY. DARE 2018 kicks off today, Wednesday 21st of November, 2018 and ends on 22nd of November. This summit promises to be exciting with insightful sessions aimed at providing lasting plans and solutions to elevate Africa. 

The D.A.R.E. Summit 2018 is themed “Elevate Africa”; a 2-day certification training program/event which will be held in Lagos, the summit is built around the 4 step process of D.A.R.E.: Discovering One’s Potential, Achieving Desired Results, Replication of Success Models, Enjoying the Outcome.

The premise of this initiative is that accelerated National Development starts with personal growth and Leadership skills for citizens across the country with the belief that this will impact both the citizens and every sector of the Nigerian economy.

This program is organized by Pens & Dreams Limited in collaboration with globally recognized, certified, independent Coaches, Speakers, Trainers, Professionals, Business Men and Women in vast fields who are authorities and successful in their own rights with the singular aim of investing in the Nation-building project at this time. These facilitators are committed to serving from their wealth of experience and background pulled together over many decades.

Attendees will be regaled with hands-on information and current practices across different sectors and expertise. Former President Olusegun Obasanjo (GCFR) is one of the facilitators alongside 40 others like Dr. Adeola Deji-Olowe, Principal Partner at The Anavo Institute and Clara Okorie, Director of Maple & Staunch.

Dr Adeola Deji-Olowe is the Principal Partner at The Anavo Institute, a financial consulting firm focused on modelling, planning and funding of structured finance projects. With over 15 years of experience in the financial market. Dr. Adeola has worked with foremost financial institutions and holds a PhD in Finance from Manchester Business School with a focus on the emerging markets. Her personal drive and desire is to see people develop to be confident and vibrant in whatever area they chose as a career of vocation.

Clara Okorie is an Executive Director with the  John Maxwell Team and also a 2014 Mandela  Washington Fellow of President Barack  Obama’s Young African Leaders Initiative with over 20 years’ experience working in the Civil  Society sector. She became an undergraduate  at the age of 14years and attained her first  degree at 19years; A Crisis Management  Expert with several degrees, diplomas,  certifications and speaks over four languages,  Clara wears multiple hats and is a Co-Founder  of Pens & Dreams limited: a Company  comprising of experts from different  educational fields with in-depth knowledge of  the most sophisticated success formulas that  proffer real-time solutions and clarity to  professionals faced with challenges from all  over the globe.

Clara is active in several roles  and positions include being a Commissioned Goodwill Ambassador of the  State of Arkansas, USA, A member of the  International Youth Council of the United  Nations, a Strategist for the National Youth  Council of Nigeria, serves as a Mara Mentor,  Tony Elumelu Foundation Mentor and also the  Director of Public Relations & Partnerships of  Quintessential Business Women Association;  an NGO in Special Consultative Status with the  Economic and Social Council of the United  Nations with over One Million members in  Nigeria. She is an ardent believer in the empowerment of Women and youths for sustainable development.
