Over the weekend, the United Capital Asset Management and United Capital Securities Limited won the “Money Market Fund of the Year” and “2018 Pearl Stockbroking Firm of the Year “ award at the BusinessDay Banking and Financial Institutions (BAFI) awards and The Pearl Awards Nigeria respectively.
From the organizers of the BusinessDay Banking and Financial Institutions (BAFI) awards, United Capital Money Market Fund bagged the award due to its impressive return and growth during the year. It posted high return to subscribers and outperformed its benchmark during the period. In addition to timely and consistent dividend payments, the Net Asset Value of the Fund improved significantly during the year, as a result of its team of highly experienced fund managers. While United Capital Securities emerged “The Stockbroking Firm of the Year” at The Pearl award was also in recognition of the firm’s operational growth performance both in volume and value transactions between 2017 and 2018.
