DEKRA Wins iF Design Award and DDC Award

The 2017–2018 DEKRA Annual Report which is entitled and focuses on “Thoughtleaders for Trust” has received two resnowned award: the iF De-sign Award 2019 and the “Gute Gestaltung Good Design 19” award of the DDC (Deutscher Designer Club e.V.).

“We are delighted to have won these two outstanding awards,” said Stephan Heigl, Director of Communication and Marketing. The iF Design Award has been presented once a year for the last 66 years by the world’s oldest independent design institution, the iF International Forum Design GmbH in Hanover. For the iF Design Award, the international jury of 67 experts was tasked with selecting the winner of the sought-after seal of quality from 6,375 submissions from 52 countries. The Deutscher Designer Club (DDC) e.V. has held the “Gute Gestaltung” (good design) competition since 2000, with the aim of honouring outstanding design.
“Pioneering content and inspiring design go hand in hand and tell a joint story. DEKRA’s trend-setting core competence as a thought leader and global partner for safety is conveyed perfectly,” said Jochen Theurer, Creative Director at Strichpunkt Design, the Annual Report agency commissioned by DEKRA. He went on to say that DEKRA fully deserved to win both awards.
