Betway has a mantra where they always remind bettors – ’It’s a big bet, and the odds are in your favour’. And that’s the reality of many players on the online betting platform who have walked away with generous payouts since the beginning of the year.

One of such winners is Oyinpreye Ebipade, a 26-year-old seafarer from Bayelsa who was confident of hitting the jackpot when he started betting on Betway. He reckoned that this might take a while, but he had no idea that he was going to win over a million Naira by placing less than four bets on the platform.

Being a seafarer who is in the habit of taking risks, he found a kindred spirit in Betway, which is a betting platform that gives its users the advantage of placing multiple bets across a straightforward betting odds.

The young millionaire revealed that he only placed a N10,000 multi-bet on different games and matches on Betway and the next thing he heard was that he has won 1.5 million Naira.

Ebipade who is also an ardent Arsenal FC fan said he first heard about Betway when he was doing his Masters in Marine Operations Management in the UK.

“I used to work in the UK, and that was when I first saw Betway on a football team jersey. . So when I came back, I wanted to start betting and a friend of mine told me about Betway, and said that Betway is in Nigeria and that was it. I hadn’t even placed up to four bets before I won,” he said.

When asked why he chose to bet on Betway, he said, “I have seen them on shirts of West Ham players so I know they are reliable and efficient”.

Betway has a reputation of rewarding players on the platform with a chance to win big through unique features like good betting odds, Cash-Out, Book-A-Bet and ongoing promotions like the 4-To-Score, Money Back and NBA Predictor options.

There’s always the big question of what bet winners will do with the money. In Ebipade’s case, he said he hasn’t made up his mind yet. He hinted at probably saving it until it gets bigger so he can use it to buy a brand new car.
