The Board of Directors of (the Board’) PZ Cussons Nigeria Plc (‘the Company’), hereby announces the following resignation and appointment:
RESIGNATION – MR PEDRO BARRETO
The resignation of Mr. Pedro Barreto, as Chief Finance Officer of the Company effective 31st March 2020 to enable him to pursue other personal endeavors, was accepted. Mr. Barreto joined the Company on 18th February 2018.
APPOINTMENT – MR ZUBER MOMONIAT
Mr. Zuber Momoniat has been appointed as the new Chief Finance Officer of the Company effective 1st April 2020.
Mr. Momoniat is a Certified Chartered Accountant with over seventeen years of experience in account reconciliations, budgeting, forecasting, internal controls, governance, and financial planning. He is a seasoned professional with a proven track record of delivering accurate reports and high-quality service mostly in the consumer goods industry.
He graduated from the University of the Witwatersrand Johannesburg with honors in Accounting. Zuber started his career as an Audit Manager in PWC and later joined SABMiller. He successfully worked with SABMillerin in different Countries and across the various units of Finance for over 12 years.
Zuber brings a track record of financial planning, budgeting, financial accounting, and strong people skills.
Mr. Momoniat is a native of South Africa and speaks English and Afrikaans.
