Heineken Brouwerijen B.V, the majority shareholder in Nigerian Breweries Plc has further raised its equity stake in the brewer with the purchase of additional 192,403 units (aggregate volume) at an average price of N37.13 per share.
Details of the transaction done on 27th, 28th & 31st August 2020 in Lagos via The Nigerian Stock Exchange by the foreign substantial shareholder show that it bought:
- 12,000 shares at N36.09 per unit
- 158,882 shares at N37.51 per unit
- 21,521 shares at N37.78 per unit

Nigerian Breweries Plc, on Thursday, also announced the share insider dealing involving its Foreign core investor, Heineken Brouwerijen B.V that purchased 53,272 units at an average price of N36 per unit which amounted to N1,917,792.
Nigerian Breweries had on August 24, 2020, also confirmed share dealing by Heineken Brouwerijen B.V that purchased 6,894,409 units N35.67 per unit which amounted to N245,923,569.03. The transaction took place on 19th – 21st August 2020.
In a similar transaction, the foreign investor purchased 75,500 shares between 14th & 18th August 2020.
