Corporate brands, public relations and marketing communications executive, Oluwatobi Ogunlesi has joined the services of Marine Platforms Limited as Corporate Communications Coordinator.

Marine Platforms is an oil service company focused on providing diverse services to the upstream sector of the oil & gas industry in Nigeria and the African continent sustainably. With services ranging from brownfield development, subsea solutions, well services and vessel chartering, Marine Platforms adheres to the highest standards of professionalism and strives to exceed the expectations of her clients through integrity, imbibing a very strict safety culture and quality service delivery.

Prior to his appointment, Oluwatobi Ogunlesi, an alumnus of the Lagos Business School MBA programme was a public relations and communications adviser with Info Digital Africa, Black House Media group. At ID Africa, he was responsible for managing projects/campaigns for MultiChoice Nigeria and DStv Nigeria, among other roles; with support from the Black House Media team.

Some of the projects executed by Ogunlesi while at Info Digital Africa include the Africa Magic Video Choice Awards 2020, MultiChoice Hope For Africa Benefit Concert, Big Brother Naija 2020, MultiChoice Socio-Economic Impact, DStv Thanks Campaign, MultiChoice New Packs Naija (The launch of DStv Yanga, DStv Confam and DStv Padi), DStv StepUp, MultiChoice Group Media Showcase, and Africa Magic Shows (Dr.Laser, DateMyFamily, Unmarried, Confessions, Mercy and Ike, Judging Matters).

In his new position, he is expected to coordinate corporate communications activities for Marine Platforms Limited, taking charge of the communications strategy, event management and media relations, while also working collaboratively with different business stakeholders to achieve the company’s objectives.

Ogunlesi started his career in Account Management at Insight Publicis before joining Africa Practice, a strategic communications consulting firm. He later moved to Lafarge Africa Plc as Communications Administrator, and then to R&B Public Relations, a public relations firm, as Account Executive, and then Info Digital Africa as Public Relations & Communications Adviser.

His academic background includes a Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Economics & Farm Management, from the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta; and an MBA in General Management from the Pan Atlantic University’s Lagos Business School.
