KAP Music studio, under the label of KAP Music, has released the highly anticipated soundtrack from its Netflix original movie, “Citation”. Rapidly gaining traction, the movie “Citation” has dominated the discourses of the lovers of movies, arts and entertainment since its release on Netflix on October 31, 2020.
The soundtrack album is a product of a fusion of passion, unique sounds, instrumentals and voices telling a vivid story. The lyrics were written by Peace Abosede and Kent Edunjobi who also produced the tracks. Kent is popularly known for his work on several projects like: Roti, Tribunal, Omugwo, The Bridge, Tenant of the House, Diamonds in the Sky and Mokalik.
The Citation EP, executively produced by multi-award-winning filmmaker, Kunle Afolayan, features Kofo Wonder, Kent Edunjobi and Peace Abosede. The soundtrack features five tracks including Cava Senegal, Moremi, Senegal Bi Ge Niale and Senorita all available on music streaming platforms like TikTok and Audiomack to name a few.
The movie, “Citation,” tells the realistic story of sexual assault and often untold experiences of victims on campus. The film centres around Moremi (Temi Otedola) a postgraduate student, who accuses celebrated professor, Lucien N’Dyare (a charismatic Jimmy Jean-Louis) of sexual assault.
