As part of her plan to sustainably reposition Okitipupa Oil Palm Plc (OOPPlc) on the trajectory of global transformation in the Oil Palm Industry, the Board and Management of the Company has deemed it prudent to re-train the current staff of the Company.
The training, which commenced at the Company Headquarters in Okitipupa, Ondo State, was conducted for the Agric arm of the staff by Nigerian Institute for Oil Palm Research (NIFOR), and the aim was to better equip and prepare the staff for the enormous tasks before the leadership of the Company.
The exercise was a huge success, as participants ecstatically expressed gratitude to the Management for the knowledge garnered. The outcomes are already evident at the new nursery ground of the Company.
According to Okitipupa Oil Palm’s Management, this training programme is progressive and all-encompassing. The staff of other departments of the Company will soon receive their turn.
