Award-winning Nigerian singer Davido has finally launched his cryptocurrency company named ‘Echoke Social Token’.
He took to his verified Twitter and Instagram pages to make the announcement with his fans and followers.
Information from the whitepaper of the token reveals that it is a cryptocurrency that is built on the Binance Smart Chain (BSC) and it is meant to, “provide access to giveaways, NFTs, festivals, exclusive merchandise, and other entertainment, media, and hospitality benefits.”
The singer wrote: “Happy to finally announce this thing we’ve been working on for a while. It’s the ‘Echoke Social Token’. Use the hashtag #EchokeForHere.
“Every day, millions of fans create value that is captured by a few execs in a boardroom. Not any more. We’re giving the power back to the fans.
