Jaiz Bank Plc, Nigeria’s Premier Non-Interest Bank, has released its unaudited financial results for the fiscal year ended 31 December 2021.

 

 

According to the results released to the Nigerian Exchange Group, Profit Before Tax (PBT) increased by 37.17 percent from N3.07 billion in December 2020 to N4.21 billion in December 2021.

 

The bank also announced a 31.76 percent increase in Gross Income from N19.61 billion in December 2020 to N25.84 billion at the end of December 2021.

 

During the review period, the bank’s total assets increased by 19.62 percent, rising from N233.58 billion at the end of December 2020 to N279.42 billion at the end of December 2021.

 

For the period under review, the bank’s Shareholders’ Funds increased by 14.84 percent, from N17.85 billion at the end of December 2020 to N20.50 billion at the end of December 2021.

 

Earnings per share increased by 21.62 percent during the period, rising from 9.85 kobo in 2020 to 11.98 kobo in 2021.

 

In the last four years, the bank has consistently delivered remarkable results, clearly reaffirming its continuous growth trajectory as the leader in Nigeria’s Non-Interest Banking space.

 

Hassan Usman, Managing Director/CEO, attributed the achievements to the Bank’s footprints across the country, as well as the strong ambition to provide customers with par excellence service while meeting their financial needs.
