Airtel Nigeria, a Nigerian telco behemoth, has unveiled its state-of-the-art Tier 3 data center in Lagos State for commercial use, emphasizing its mission to help provide perfect uptime and peerless security for the servers it houses, as well as cloud services for businesses and government establishments across the country.
The commercial data center was unveiled on Tuesday, April 12th, 2022, in the presence of Hakeem Fahm, the Commissioner of Science and Technology for Lagos State, who recognized the significance of the data center to the businesses operating in Lagos State.
EPI, the world’s leading data center certification body, awarded the center the high-end Tier 3 ANSI/TIA-942 certification. According to the company, the Airtel ultra-modern data center is powered by superior technology, allowing it to operate efficiently in Nigeria’s tropical climate while also offering multiple paths and backups to its users.
