
The much anticipated remodeled version of the Big Brother Naija reality show, Big Brother Titans [BBTitans] has finally commenced today, Sunday, January 15, 2023.
Brand Spur Nigeria reports that the BBTitans is a combination of Nigerian and South African ‘giants’ cohabitating for 72 days and engaging in a series of activities.
Recall that Multichoice Nigeria CEO, John Ugbe, gave the highlights of the reality show earlier on December 15, 2022, during a press conference.
John Ugbe revealed that the event would be hosted in South Africa, having a fusion of BBNaija and Big Brother Mzansi of South Africa housemates.

- The reality show will be hosted by Nigerian media personalty and popular BBNaija host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu and South African actor, Lawrence Maleka
- BBTitans will last for 72 days starting from January 15th 2023.
- Like the Nigerian edition of the reality show, BB Titans giants would participate in house games, quizzes, and a series of tasks for the ultimate prize of $100,000 in cash.
- The winner of the reality show will be determined by viewers’ votes across Africa
- BBTitans would be streamed in over 45 countries in Sub-Saharan Africa and also in the United Kingdom, the Republic of Ireland, and others.
Brand Spur Nigeria understands that the combination of Ebuka and Maleka as hosts of the reality show, has generated arguments on social media, and Nigerians and South Africans boast differently about the duos.
Meanwhile, MutliChoice has promised that the BBTitans show will come with even more show of swag, banter, romance, and more.
As usual, the viewers on DStv and GOtv will be able to vote via their MyDStv and MyGOtv Apps to keep their favourite housemates on the show.
Each viewer’s subscription package will determine the number of votes they can access in each voting cycle. The BBTitans winner will be decided by viewers’ votes across Africa after 12 weeks on the show.
Big Brother Titans would also be available to stream on Showmax. Fans of BBNaija and BBMzansi in the United Kingdom, the Republic of Ireland, and 45 countries in Sub-Saharan Africa can follow the drama 24/7 on the streaming service.
