Sticks To Presidential Directives To Re-Issue Only N200 Old Notes

BrandSpur Nigeria reports that the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has denied extending the validity of the old N200, N500, N1000 notes till the 1st of May, 2023.

This is coming after the first lady, Aisha Buhari shared information that the central bank has been asked to recirculate the old notes and make it valid until May 1.

Several APC chieftains have also followed suit as they shared on their various social media group.

However, in reaction via the official Twitter handle of the CBN, the information was declared fake news.
