9mobile Plans Market Take Over, Invests N70bn On Network Modernisation

9mobile CEO, Juergen Peschel has announced a new campaign for the telecommunication company which would see a resurgence on the Nigerian market. This campaign has been heavily backed with over N70bn in investment,  into both network operations as well aggressive strategies to reclaim its market share in Nigeria.

He disclosed that 9mobile has added 600 new sites, equipped with 4G LTE facilities to enhance the operation and compete in the Nigerian market, as well as the deployment of new broadband services to enlarge its fiber network across Nigerian cities. He also added that the company was adding another technical, digital, and organizational upgrade to show 9mobile desire for innovation, customer centered quality service.

Juergen made this known at the annual Channel Partners Conference, which was themed, ‘Re-engage to Succeed’, which was held recently in Ikeja, Lagos. Juergen said, “9mobile is on the path of resurgence. We are taking back lost territories in the market and forging ahead to reclaim our innovative position and industry leadership”.

Peschel recognized the presence and business commitment of the channel partners, he emphasized the importance of the brand renaissance, to which he added that “Thank you very much for joining us on this special day. You have been with us through thick and thin; we are in this together, and I particularly thank you all for supporting 9mobile throughout the years.

“The years ahead are promising when you consider the level of expansion we are embarking on. We look forward to constantly interfacing with you, supporting you in various ways, enhancing our network, and making our relationships competitive”, he said
