Moneymaster Payment Service Bank Limited (MMPSB), a prominent payment service bank, will be present at the 2024 Ojude Oba Festival to encourage the use of mobile wallets and increase consumer usage of the platform.
Moneymaster is currently running a month-long market activation campaign to get Ijebuland natives to use their mobile wallet, a digital banking platform that allows users to pay utility bills, buy airtime, transfer or withdraw cash from an agent, and more.
Customers in Ijebuland who open an account during this month-long activation have the opportunity to win free airtime and other gifts, according to a press release from Moneymaster.
As the majority of Nigerians adopt mobile wallets to facilitate easier payment processing and help them develop more convenient saving habits, the PSB observed that the shift towards a cashless economy could materialise.
According to the statement, “While we rejoice with the people of Ijebuland at this time, we also want to showcase what we have in Moneymaster’s mobile wallet that can help various people to enjoy seamless banking from their phones.”
The banking and finance news shows that the Central Bank of Nigeria has granted licences to Moneymaster Payment Service bank, which is insured by the NDIC and promotes financial inclusion in support of the financial literacy initiative in Nigeria. Through Moneymaster, Nigerians can open savings accounts, individual and business accounts, mobile wallets, and pay utility bills to over 4,000 companies.
In an effort to offer residents of Lagos State discounted food items in the face of rising food prices, the Lagos State government recently named Moneymaster as a payment partner of the Ounje Eko initiative. Moneymaster is positioned to support individuals and businesses in their journeys towards financial prosperity by providing customised financial services that meet their goals.
