Lagos-based cloud infrastructure and web hosting provider HoganHost has been named Web Hosting Company of the Year in the People’s Choice category at the 6th Eko Heritage Awards, earning recognition for its growing influence in Nigeria’s digital infrastructure industry.
The company secured the honour ahead of other web hosting providers, QServers and Harmon Web, during the awards ceremony held at the Lagos Oriental Hotel in Victoria Island, where businesses, organisations and industry leaders were recognised for outstanding contributions to technology, entrepreneurship, innovation and the creative sector.
The latest recognition comes as HoganHost accelerates its expansion strategy across Africa, reinforcing its position in Nigeria’s competitive web hosting market. Brandspur Brand News reports that the company has recently intensified investments aimed at strengthening its cloud infrastructure services and regional presence.
Company Chief Executive Officer, Joseph Hogan, described the award as a significant endorsement from customers and stakeholders, saying the recognition reflects the trust businesses have placed in the company’s hosting, domain registration and digital infrastructure services over the years.
He also reaffirmed HoganHost’s ambition to become Africa’s leading web hosting and cloud infrastructure provider, citing recent strategic initiatives including the acquisition of Nigerian web hosting company ZuumHost and the expansion of its domain registration capabilities across multiple African markets.
According to the company, retaining ZuumHost as an independent subsidiary will preserve its existing customer relationships while allowing both brands to contribute to a broader multi-brand digital infrastructure strategy focused on serving businesses across the continent.
HoganHost also disclosed that it has secured nine additional international domain accreditations, broadening its portfolio of country-specific and global domain extensions to improve localised domain registration services for customers in different markets.
Founded by Joseph Hogan and Atim Hogan, the company provides web hosting, cloud hosting, dedicated servers, domain registration and enterprise digital infrastructure solutions for businesses, developers and organisations. It said future investments will focus on cloud computing, cybersecurity, automation technologies and strategic partnerships designed to support Africa’s expanding digital economy and help businesses compete more effectively on the global stage.
