During its participation in the reality show, energy drink company Supa Komando tested the housemates’ level of fitness through a task dubbed “Big Energy,” which transformed the Big Brother Naija mansion into a military training camp.
There were two phases to the brand task. In the first activity, housemates who worked in pairs shared personal narratives of times in their lives when they overcame adversity and demonstrated grit and perseverance. To complete the second assignment, which required the housemates to ring a bell in the least amount of time, they had to “fire on” in physically taxing exercises including crawling through tires, scaling stairs, and climbing ladders.
BrandSpur entertainment and lifestyle news reveals that the pairs who completed the job in the quickest amount of time were eligible to move on to the next round. After this phase, the following housemate duos advanced to the next round: Aces, Topher and Sooj; Radicals, Michky, and Fairme David; Nelita, Nelly and Anita; Shatoria, Shawn and Victoria; and Beta, Tjay, and Ben.
The five-qualified pair engaged in a buzzer-wire game in the second round. A box with a metallic Supa Komando emblem on top was presented to them. It required the roommates to roll two rods through it without coming into contact with the metal. After stopping rolling and touching the metal three or four times, the housemates were awarded points according to their level of achievement.
At this point, Biggie gave Shatoria, the Radicals, and Beta a deep ball game to play instead of a puzzle game that required them to move through various coloured puzzle boxes and push a Supa Komando bottle out of the board’s centre in five minutes.
Shatoria and Radicals were eligible to play the last game, which was the round Maze game. They had to manoeuvre the labyrinth from side to side until the ball in the middle went through an opening.
Shatoria was named the season’s toughest Supa Komando Contender after the match, BrandSpur national news brand reports.
