We are pleased to welcome Ms. Hélène Paradisi as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Beta Glass Plc, a member of the Frigoglass Group and the top producer of glass packaging solutions, crowns, and crates in West and Central Africa.
This comes after Beta Glass declared on July 31, 2024, that Mr Shanker Dhanikonda, the former CFO, will retire on August 5, 2024, as a result of management adjustments in line with the business’s ongoing transformation program.
Ms. Hélène Paradisi is a seasoned and successful senior financial management and accounting specialist with more than 20 years of experience in a variety of industries, including mining, automotive, logistics, and consulting. She is a master at putting internal controls in place, carrying out financial analysis, and spearheading projects that boost productivity, boost profitability, and increase efficiency.
Hélène Paradisi, a French national with postgraduate training in management and finance, began living and working in various African nations in 2009. She was the Finance Director of the Automotive Division of CFAO in Lagos, Nigeria, before being appointed CFO of Beta Glass.
She was instrumental in bringing the CFAO company back to profitability in 2021 during her time there. Before that, from 2014 to 2020, Ms. Paradisi had positions as Corporate Financial Controller at Monurent and Regional Finance Manager for West Africa at MAXAM, where she oversaw the finance team in seven different nations.
Hélène Paradisi was previously Head of Finance at PANALPINA and Administration and Finance Manager at EXXARO, both of which were situated in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
Ms Paradisi obtained her certification as an auditor at PWC in Lyon, France, early in her career. There, she handled the practice’s biggest critical accounts with success.
Ms. Paradisi is a highly valued addition to Beta Glass’ management team thanks to her unique combination of industry expertise and managerial experience across numerous organizations in several African nations. She will have a big impact on the business’s financial expansion and ongoing prosperity.
