Since Universal Homes reports that the first phase of its residential flats is available for occupancy, a sizable number of home seekers in Nigeria will be exiting the housing market in the next four days.
The developer and Alaro City will have a historic opening ceremony on Saturday, August 31, at which point the keys to the apartments will be given to the buyers, allowing them to take complete ownership of their residences. It is anticipated that Nigerian homeownership will rise as a result, BrandSpur local news brand reports.
According to a statement released by Alaro City over the weekend, the keys will be turned over, signaling an important turning point in Nigeria’s real estate and urban development landscape—particularly because it would result in fewer tenants in Lagos, which is thought to be the country’s most active rental market.
The specially constructed residences, which are situated in the Lekki Free Zone’s Alaro City, are part of a carefully planned urban development that aims to reinvent modern living. By fusing cutting-edge technology with sustainable and community-focused architecture, Alaro City is breaking new ground and guaranteeing that its residents experience not just comfort and convenience but also an atmosphere that promotes long-term growth and well-being.
Alaro City’s managing director, Yomi Ademola, stated: “This development is a testament to our unwavering commitment to building a city that meets the highest standards of modern living while preserving the environment and encouraging a sense of community.”
He went on to say: “The completion and handover of the first phase of Universal Homes signifies the beginning of a new chapter in Alaro City, where residents can enjoy the benefits of smart home technology in a serene, well-planned urban environment.”
Ademola clarified that the grand opening ceremony is a celebration of the dynamic community that is starting to establish itself in Alaro City rather than just a formal transfer.
The Family Fun Fair, which is a component of the celebrations, aims to give partners, employees, and investors a fun day while fostering the strong community links that are essential to Alaro City’s mission.
Alaro City is planned as a 2,000-hectare city development with a registered and unencumbered C of O title, situated in the Northwest Quadrant of the Lekki Free Zone. It has 24-hour electricity via a privately owned IPP, as well as industrial-grade standard roads, including an eight-lane, 60-meter-wide boulevard that is among the largest privately owned highways in Africa. Other amenities include water, sewage, drains, ICT, and so on.
Continuing, he promises that despite the city’s continued expansion, it is dedicated to fulfilling its pledge to build a community that not only accommodates its citizens’ present needs but also considers their goals for the future.
However, he left a strong assurance: “With more developments on the horizon, including commercial, recreational, and additional residential spaces, Alaro City is poised to become a beacon of modern urban living in Nigeria.”
