Plans for the Public Image Seminar, which was intended for Rotarians, non-Rotarians, journalists, public relations and advertising professionals, bloggers, and graphic designers, have been finalised by Rotary International District 9111.
As stated by Rotarian (Dr.) Wole Kukoyi, the Chief Medical Director of Ace Medicare Clinic in Ota and Governor of Rotary District 9111 Pioneer District: “The public image seminar is held on Thursday, October 3, 2024, between 9 am and 12:00 noon at the Rotary Centre, 8 Ladoke Akintola Street, GRA Ikeja, Lagos.”
“Integrated Marketing Communications (IMC): Strategy as Magic for Promoting Public Image in Rotary,” the Seminar’s theme reads.
Continuing, Rotarian Olalekan Otun, the Chairman of the Public Image Committee, said in his contribution that: “Executive Secretary, National Institute For Cultural Orientation (NICO), Otunba Biodun Ajiboye will chair the lecture and Hon Stephen Ogundipe, Lagos State House of Assembly (LSHA) Chairman of Information, Strategy and Security Committee will be the Special Guest.”
The speakers he mentioned are Rotarian Michael Effiong, Senior Special Advisor on Lagos Liaison to the Governor of Akwa Ibom State, who will talk about branding; Mr. Austen Osokpor, Head of Corporate Communications, Ecobank Nig Ltd., who will address Sponsorship; and Rotarian Tope Akande, Head of Corporate Communications, Lagos State Signage and Advertisement Agency (LASAA), who will speak on Outdoor Advertising.
The seminar seeks to enhance public perception of Rotary and to increase knowledge, admiration, and backing for the organization’s community-based humanitarian intervention initiatives, BrandSpur national news stories tell.
