World Bank Group Avails Opportunity For Young People Through Its Young Professionals Program

The World Bank Group is presently recruiting smart young people who want to join it through its Young Professionals Program (YPP).

Applications from a wide range of academic and professional backgrounds are being received by it; in particular, those wishing to serve as Associate Investment Officers, Technical Specialists, or Economists are welcome.

The World Bank Group will hire recruits on a five-year contract. By taking on alternating positions within the company for the first two years, they will be able to gain a deeper grasp of how the bank operates. Through training at the Young Professionals Academy, they will also improve their understanding of how the bank operates.

The Young Professionals Program will include training in subjects like business and negotiation skills, language acquisition, technological operations, and leadership development, BrandSpur national news stories report.

Eligibility

  • The applicants’ birthdate must be after October 1, 1992.
  • Have at least four years of work experience following the completion of undergraduate studies (work includes internships and doctoral studies)
  • Obtained a Master’s degree, or its equivalent, before September 1, 2025, in a relevant discipline
  • Outstanding command of both written and spoken English
