Capacious Farms & Foods Nigeria has announced an arts and essay contest for junior secondary school kids aged 11 to 14, with the theme “Feeding Our Future: Innovating for a Healthier World,” in honor of this year’s World Food Day.

In the words of Chi Tola, Managing Director of Capacious Farms & Foods Nigeria, who spoke to BrandSpur national news brand, the event is scheduled to occur in Lagos, Nigeria, from September 16 to October 16, 2024, and it is a component of the World Food Day celebration program.

Tola has this to say: “This contest aims to inspire the next generation to think critically and creatively about food security, sustainable farming, and agricultural innovation. Students will have the opportunity to showcase their ideas and talents, with exciting prizes to be won.

“The event will include food exhibitions featuring diverse ethnic foods from across Nigeria. Arts exhibitions showcasing entries from participants and prize giveaways for winners and runners-up.

“We encourage embracing farming as a sustainable way of producing extra income and self-dependency. Opportunity to see diverse ethnic foods and learn about different cultures and chance to win exciting prizes and gain recognition,” Tola added.

She went on to say that they are looking for partners and that the reason people or organisations should sponsor the competition is to encourage up-and-coming innovators and novel approaches to achieve sustainability and food security.

Tola stated: “Elevate your brand through visibility across multiple media platforms and event materials. Make a lasting impact by empowering the leaders of tomorrow and strengthen community ties by aligning with a cause committed to sustainability, education, and positive social impact.

“We welcome sponsorships in various forms, including financial contributions, media partnerships, in-kind donations, and more. Sponsors will receive premium recognition, logo display, exclusive networking opportunities, and tailored brand exposure.

“By sponsoring this contest, you will play a vital role in nurturing creativity and innovation in young Nigerians, promoting sustainable food practices, and cultivating a brighter, healthier future,” she added.

She, however, mentioned that Capacious Farms & Foods is committed to offering high-quality, reasonably priced farm produce and goods with additional value while advancing farming, sustainability, and community development.
