The trailer for Style Magnate, a brand-new Nigerian Original reality series that will debut on Friday, October 4, 2024, and release new episodes every Friday, has been made available by Showmax. Twenty gifted up-and-coming fashion designers who have been hand-selected after a demanding audition process are competing in the fashion and design competition Style Magnate.
These designers are vying for a potentially life-altering 100 million Naira prize pool, which includes a cash award of 10 million Naira, a one-bedroom loft apartment, a three-month internship, and the esteemed title of The Style Magnate.
Twenty designers will compete in this high-stakes fashion and design reality show. After a month-long trip, one of them will be crowned and given the chance to start their career as a designer for the stars, a chance that might change their lives. As they take on tasks that test their designing, stitching, and sketching abilities under extreme pressure and against the clock, competitors will be pushed to the edge.
As competitors work to create jaw-dropping designs to impress some of the biggest names in fashion, the stakes are higher with every episode, BrandSpur local news brand reports.
With the assistance of knowledgeable mentors and well-known business titans, the competitors must demonstrate their ability to sketch, design, and sew under pressure as they take on tasks that will test their abilities and inventiveness. They will also be required to dress famous people.
Continuing, Mai Atafo, a Nigerian fashion designer and icon renowned for his skill and award-winning creations, is a leading Style Magnate. Atafo, the Maestro of the show, will be available to provide knowledge, support, and, of course, his trademark rough love.
Joseph Benjamin, who will be hosting the event, will bring his charm and expertise to the Bottega. Yolanda Okereke, a well-known stylist and TV and movie costume designer, will be the Fashion Principal.

Style Magnate promises dramatic twists and edge-of-your-seat excitement in all of its fashion-forward endeavours, whether it’s making sustainable clothes from recycled materials, working on collaborative projects, or producing high fashion ensembles for A-list celebrities.
Only the most gifted designers will advance to the final, as alliances and friendships will be tested as the competition heats up. A surprise celebrity guest and the experts will critique their final creations. The victor will take home the title of “The Style Magnate” and get entry into the African fashion industry.
