
The third season of the highly regarded FUZE Talent Show has officially begun with the announcement of the panel of judges by Stanbic IBTC Pension Managers, a division of Stanbic IBTC Holdings. The youth-focused talent discovery platform’s most exciting edition to date is expected to be launched, thanks to the event held at the Stanbic IBTC Towers in Lagos.
The Chief Executive of Stanbic IBTC Pension Managers, Olumide Oyetan, announced the theme for this year: “Light it up” in his speech. The subject perfectly captures the purpose of the program, which is to highlight and appreciate the limitless creativity and brilliance of Nigerian youngsters.
Olumide highlighted the FUZE Talent Show’s revolutionary potential by saying: “Each season, we’ve witnessed this platform’s ability to uncover, foster, and propel young talents into the spotlight; giving rise to new stars who now shine across the realms of music, dance, fashion, and technology.”
The revelation of an unprecedented N50 million grand prize for this year’s winners, raising the stakes for talent contests in Nigeria, was a major event highlight. The significant increase in prize money is more evidence of Stanbic IBTC Pension Managers’ dedication to giving young Nigerian talent opportunities that can change their lives.
The FUZE 3.0 judging panel was revealed, and it is made up of a star-studded collection of industry professionals that will assess candidates in four categories:
- Music: Award-winning Nigerian singer-songwriter Korede Bello will use his skill to help find the next great names in the music industry.
- Dance: DonFlexx, a well-known businessman, social media influencer, and specialist in digital marketing, will provide his vibrant energy to the dance division. He is searching for dancers who can enthral viewers both live and virtually.
- Fashion: The founder of Funke Adepoju Couture and a well-known Nigerian fashion designer, Funke Adepoju, will contribute her skill in fusing modern fashion with traditional Nigerian aesthetics to the fashion category.
- Technology: When it comes to finding ideas in the tech sector, Akinwande Akinsulire, the Director of Engineering at Co-Creation Hub (CcHub), will take the lead in the technology category.
Throughout the FUZE journey, participants will receive fair assessments, insightful criticism, and direction from these influential members of the business. The media scramble also unveiled a broader geographical field of competitors, indicating even more varied chances for competitors to demonstrate their abilities.
Expanding upon the triumphant past seasons that captivated millions of people globally and included over 10,000 participants, FUZE 3.0 is well-positioned to attain unprecedented levels of engagement and worldwide visibility.
