Casava Insurance Names Aluor Agusah, New Chief Commercial Officer

Aluor Agusah has been appointed Chief Commercial Officer of Casava Insurance, Nigeria’s leading digital insurer, demonstrating the company’s commitment to leading the insurance sector and leaving a lasting legacy.

The company stated that Casava’s goal was to aggressively broaden its influence and reach inside Nigeria’s dynamic insurance sector, as well as to maintain its leadership position in the digital insurance space.

The statement partly reads that he: “Brings a wealth of expertise to the company. The former Chief Marketing Officer at Alliance and General Insurance Plc has a track record that includes leadership roles at prominent companies such as Royal Exchange General Insurance and Old Mutual Nigeria.”

Bode Pedro, the founder and CEO of Casava Insurance, shared the news on LinkedIn and stated his happiness at having Agusah join the team. He said: “I am thrilled to welcome Aluor Agusah to the Casava family as our Chief Commercial Officer. His 20-plus years of experience, expertise, accomplishments, and passion for transforming the insurance landscape truly resonate with our mission.

He claimed that Casava’s readiness to compete in the major leagues is evident from Agusah’s appointment. His outstanding qualifications to spearhead Casava’s commercial endeavours are further demonstrated by his impressive credentials, which include fellowships with prestigious organisations such as the Institute of Management Specialists (FIMS), the Chartered Institute of Loans & Risk Management of Nigeria (MCILRM), and the Institute of Certified Sales Professionals (MICSP). He also holds a Master of Business Administration.
