Vesti Opens Its Lagos Software Engineering Office, Express Interest To Continue Nigeria Market Expansion

Recently, Vesti, a premier provider of financial and legal services for immigrants, had a spectacular opening ceremony for its brand-new, cutting-edge Lagos Software Engineering office. Olusola Amusan, co-founder and CEO of Vesti, highlighted the company’s commitment to fostering and growing top talent during the interactive press conference, highlighting Vesti’s position as a “Software Engineering Location of Choice.” He emphasised the company’s dedication to staff development through its internal training initiatives, employee satisfaction surveys, and success stories.

Additionally, he unveiled Vesti’s audacious plans to add 1,500 new engineering jobs to the state by 2027 and over 600 new engineering jobs in Lagos over the next two years.

Continuing, he had this to say: “At Vesti, these audacious and bold statements have been instrumental in driving the exponential achievement towards our mission to simplify immigration processes.”

Similarly, Vesti’s co-founder and chief operating officer, Abimbola Amusan, highlighted the company’s global reach and how its offerings enable Africans to engage with the world market. These included a student who used Vesti’s finance services to acquire money for their education overseas and a Nigerian business owner who used Vesti’s immigration services to extend their company into the United States.

He also described the company’s future growth strategies, which include introducing new goods and services and extending its reach into other nations in Asia, Africa, and North America.

One of Vesti’s initial investors, Major (Rtd.) Adebayo Adeleke, also spoke at the press conference and shared his optimism about Vesti’s growth prospects. He pointed to the company’s alliances, expansion plans throughout Africa, and recent cash-positive status in H1 2024 as proof of its impressive trajectory. He highlighted how Vesti is helping Nigeria’s economy by bringing in foreign direct investment (FDI), encouraging innovation, and generating employment.

Continuing, to pique investors’ interest, he also discussed the company’s plans for next investment rounds and a potential IPO. The new office block was formally unveiled with a ribbon-cutting ceremony that took place after the press conference. The building was put into service and given the name Centre of Excellence in Software Engineering and Financial Technology by Futurist and Social Impact Investor, Dr. Olakunle Soriyan.

Major (Rtd.) Adeleke gave Vesti recognition for its role in fostering invention, teamwork, and the unbounded potential of the human spirit. He emphasised the company’s contribution to the development of a strong tech community and the drawing of bright people to Lagos, Nigeria.
