FirstBank Open Application For Its 6th Annual FirstBank Fintech Innovators Challenge

Aiding fintech businesses in their early stages and promoting innovation within the Financial Services industry are the goals of the FirstBank Fintech Innovators Challenge.

Under the theme “Banking on Partnerships,” FirstBank is holding its sixth annual Fintech Summit. Intended to take place on November 13 and 14, 2024. Through the FirstBank Fintech Innovators Pitch Challenge, several interesting workshops, keynote addresses, networking opportunities, and intense training and mentoring will be extended to a chosen subset of entrepreneurs.

To encourage innovation in the financial services industry and assist early-stage fintech businesses, FirstBank is introducing the Fintech Innovators Pitch Programme as part of this event.

FirstBank of Nigeria hopes that this program will encourage creativity, teamwork, and expansion within the Nigerian Fintech industry.

Conditions for Eligibility in the FirstBank Fintech Innovators Pitch Competition

The following requirements must be satisfied by applicants to be considered for the Fintech Innovators Pitch Programme:

  • A Fintech firm must be in its early stages, meaning it must have a functional prototype, early traction, income, seed funding, and idea stage.
  • Will be in Lagos and accessible for the pitch preparation and session (Please refer to the dates below).

Timeliness

  • Sunday, October 27 is the deadline for submissions at 23:59 WAT
  • Picking Notification: Monday, November 4th, is when the top 10 applicants will be contacted.
  • Nov. 8 is pitch prep day. In-person instruction with coaches and facilitators who help you polish your deck and presentation, practice giving it, and make sure all of the important details, features, and value propositions of the product are clear.
  • The chosen startups will be informed of the location.
  • Today is Pitch Day! Summit Day 1 is November 13th. In front of a group of elite judges, as well as international partners and investors, make your presentation.
  • An announcement of the winners: November 14, Summit Second Day
    October 27, 2024, is the deadline.
