
Applications for the 2024 UBA Foundation National Essay Competition, Titled “The Impact of Carbon Emission on Climate Change in Nigeria: Discuss the Challenges and Proffer Solutions,” have been made public as part of the UBA Foundation’s educational initiative to promote and enhance the reading culture and healthy intellectual rivalry among secondary school students in Nigeria and Africa.
BrandSpur national news stories report the criteria for being a participant:
- The candidate must be a secondary school student in Nigeria to be eligible for the competition.
- The candidate must supply all of their contact details.
- A handwritten essay (no more than 750 words) must be uploaded.
- A recent passport photo must be uploaded by the applicant.
- A scanned copy of the student’s foreign passport, national ID, or birth certificate must be uploaded.
The following are some advantages of the competition:
- An educational stipend to any African university of your choosing is the competition’s major prize.
- Winner: 7.5 million naira
- Runner-up number one: ₦5 million
- Second-place finisher: ₦3.5 million.
